InterLearn

What is this service?

This Learning Management System (LMS) enables staff to create activities, based on non-threaded discussions. It is designed to simulate a tutorial like activity by allowing students to read other's answers and to revise their own in response. The application also enables staff to create activities that allow anonymous responses.

Where is it located in the portal?

Staff and students can access InterLearn from the ‘Monash University Studies Online’ section of the ‘Teaching and research’ and ‘Study and enrolment’ tabs respectively.

Who can use it?

Staff and students.

How do I use it?

Staff can create InterLearn activities for a unit by clicking on the 'Create InterLearn' link for that unit on their 'Manage teaching commitments' page in their 'Teaching' tab. Students can then access the activity from the Unit page in their 'Study and enrolment' tab. Once teaching staff have created an activity they can manage InterLearn using the 'InterLearn administration interface' within InterLearn.

How much will it cost? The use of the InterLearn service does not attract an additional fee.
