What is this service?

The portal email client is a 'lite' version of the Monash Webmail service. It contains the basic functionality required for reading and composing email.

Where is it located in the portal? Staff and students can access their Inbox in their 'Email' tab.
Who can use it? All staff and students with an active Monash email account.
How do I use it? You can read and compose email and move them between folders. For additional functionality such as address book, creating folders, changing your forwarding details, vacation message, etc you can access the Webmail client using the 'Switch to Monash Webmail' link located at the bottom of every page in the 'Email' tab. Any changes you make to your Inbox in Webmail are reflected the next time you refresh your portal's Inbox.
Where can I find more info? You can find further information on the Monash Email Service web site for staff or the Email web site for students. You can submit a query using the ITS Service Request form accessed using the Feedback link in the top right corner of your portal.
