The Monash Directory Service (MDS) is a collection of basic information about staff and students and is used as a central database for many other online services, including the Monash staff search facility in the portal.
The portal service enables you to view a summary of your MDS details and access the MDS customisation service where you can edit your details, including your name, location, organisational unit, vacation message, etc.

The link to this service is located in the 'My personal info' section of the 'Staff resources' tab.
Who can use it?
This service is available to all Monash staff.
How do I use it?
You can view a summary of your MDS details in the portal and edit your details via the 'Edit my MDS summary' link.
How much will it cost?
This service does not attract an additional fee.
