Free GEMPACK Utility Programs

You can freely download and install the GEMPACK Windows programs WinGEM, TABmate, ViewHAR, ViewSOL, AnalyseGE and RunGEM. Reasons to do so might include:

• You already have the full GEMPACK system, but would like more recent versions of some programs.
• You do not have the full GEMPACK system, but would like to use viewing programs ViewHAR and ViewSOL to examine data [HAR] and solution files that you have obtained.

The download also includes various command-line programs, such as AGGHAR, DIFFHAR, GEMPIEA, MODHARA, REPSOL, RWSLA, SAACM, SASDEV, SAVTOG, SEEHARA, SEENVA, SLTOHTA, TABCHKWA and TEXTBIA.

Download one of the files listed below to, say, C:\TEMP. Then run it. The install process should start. We suggest that you install into the directory C:\GP on your PC. You may like to review the advice about setting PATH and TMP variables given in GEMPACK document number GPD-7.

• GPWINPROGS-001A.EXE. This updated version fixes some font problems observed on Chinese versions of Windows, and a few other small bugs. [available July 2009]
• GPWINPROGS.EXE. This download contains the program versions currently being distributed with Source-code and Executable-image versions of Release 10.0-001 (April 2009) of GEMPACK for Windows PCs.
