Downloading The Demonstration Version of RunMONASH

RunMONASH is a Windows interface which provides an environment specially tailored for carrying out forecasts and policy deviations with recursive dynamic models. It is very similar to RunDynam. A Demonstration Version of RunDynam is also available.

To download the Demonstration Version of RunMONASH

Download RMONDMCD.EXE (7.9 Mb) and save in any temporary directory.

To install the Demonstration Version of RunMONASH, run RMONDMCD.EXE. The installer will suggest that you install this in the directory C:\RUNMONDM (but you can choose a different directory if you prefer).

The installer should create a RunMonDm icon on your desktop which you can use to run RunMONASH. [The actual program is called RunMonDm.EXE]

You should also install the latest version of AnalyseGE which is a requirement of the current version of RunMONASH (version 3.18, April 2007).

You can also download the motor vehicle tariff application and run it to replicate the results from the MONASH Model Book.

We suggest that you download this application before you start RunMONASH running. Instructions for using RunMONASH are given when you download that application.

Although RunMONASH is general-purpose software, the Demonstration Version of RunMONASH is limited to carring out different versions of the motor vehicle tariff application.
