RunMONASH is a Windows interface which provides an environment specially tailored for carrying out forecasts and policy deviations with recursive dynamic models. It is very similar to RunDynam.
We have made a demonstration version of RunMONASH available as well as some applications. The applications are different versions of the Motor Vehicle Tariff application which is the main application of the MONASH model in the MONASH Model Book.
In particular you can use the demonstration version of RunMONASH to replicate the results of Motor Vehicle Tariff application, as described in the MONASH Model Book.
You can also use the Demonstration Version of RunMONASH to solve the Motor Vehicle Tariff application under rational expectations.
A Demonstration Version of RunDynam is also available. If this is the first time you have used RunMONASH or RunDynam, and if your main interest is in finding out about the software, we recommend that you start with the RunDynam Demonstration version since the application supplied with it is more straightforward than the MONASH application available with the RunMONASH Demo version. However if your main interest is in the MONASH model, you should go ahead with the RunMONASH Demonstration Version.

Although RunMONASH is general-purpose software, the Demonstration Version of RunMONASH is limited to carrying out different versions of the motor vehicle tariff application.
