An APA(I) PhD scholarship in economics is available in the Centre of Policy Studies (CoPS) of Monash University as part of an ARC Linkage project with the Victorian Department of Primary Industries and the Department of Sustainability and Environment. The candidate will work in one of the world's leading centres for computable general equilibrium (CGE) modelling. The theory and software developed by staff at CoPS are used in hundreds of universities and other research centres throughout the world.
The successful candidate will undertake the following as part of a Ph.D.:

The value of this scholarship is at least AUS$24,148 per annum for three years. Additional research assistance income may also be available with the Centre of Policy Studies.
First class or second class division A honours in mathematics, computing science, physics or econometrics, or equivalent. The applicant must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen.
