You can get to our campuses around Melbourne in many ways, but for the sake of the environment, your health and limited car spaces, consider public transport, cycling or walking before driving – and if you have to drive, consider carpooling and park on campus for free.

To find out how to get to our international campuses, visit our Monash Malaysia, Monash South Africa pages or our campuses page.

Parking spaces

We provide metered parking spaces and permit areas on most campuses if you need to drive. Some permits are for students and staff and some for staff only. You can buy or apply for a permit from our purchase parking permits page.

If you already have a blue, red or green permit, don't forget to update your vehicle details if they change.

Please don't park in visitor spaces or yellow permit areas without a yellow permit.

Car spaces fill up quickly, so don't forget your other travel options or combination of options.

Free inter-campus shuttle bus with free wi-fi

This free shuttle service links Clayton with all campuses except Parkville. With free wi-fi on board, it's the perfect way to connect.

Motorcyclists

You can park on campus for free if you park in an area reserved for motorcycles and follow the guidelines.

Disability permits

If you have a disability, you can park in the convenient spaces reserved for you if you have a disability permit, which you can get from your local council. VicRoads has more information.

Security

Our campuses are monitored 24/7 for your security and safety. We also operate after-hours security buses at our Caulfield and Clayton campuses.
