Welcome Centres
What is a Welcome Centre?
The Welcome Centre is a student-friendly space open to all new students at Monash. The Welcome Centres' role will vary slightly from campus to campus but the overall purpose is to point new students in the right direction.
Staff and student guides will be on hand to offer advice about uni life, answer questions and refer students to services and facilities on campus. The Welcome Centres will remain open after the formal Orientation program has ended, thereby extending some Orientation experiences to those students who have arrived late and/or missed out on Orientation activities.
