The Gippsland campus is different to anything I have ever experienced. Gippsland has provided me with a great perspective of life here in Australia. As an international student, I think it is a great campus because you receive a lot of personal support and people always make you feel welcome.
Orientation week for international students helped familiarise me with the campus and Gippsland region. I found it very reassuring to know that there are dedicated staff available to assist me. It made my adjustment to my new surroundings a lot easier. The staff helped me connect to day-to-day necessities and local services.
I also love the fact that there is so much diversity, not just different nationalities, but also people from different age groups and backgrounds. This has made the experience so much more rich and rewarding.
