During the course of my honours year I've had to accept many new challenges both as a student and as a person in general. I've found that as a consequence I have had a lot expected of me and I've found myself constantly having to juggle uni with (my social) life. Overall though, life as an honours student is a lot of fun.
The best thing I've found about being an honours student is that there are more opportunities to pursue other interests outside of my academic work. For me, it has been in music, in which I now hold a diploma; and in sports, martial arts, running and weight-lifting.
If it weren't for these non-academic activities I'm sure I would be stuck studying all day. So please, do consider continuing on to an honours degree. It will be a decision you won't regret.
