Peninsula Student President's WelcomeWelcome to you all!!! On behalf of the Monash Student Union Peninsula (MONSU Peninsula), I would like to welcome the new students for 2009 to the Monash Peninsula campus. Even though the Peninsula campus is not as large as some of the other Monash campuses, it still offers all of our students some great experiences, which make juggling University study all that more bearable! University is not just about study- it is about the experience: events, parties, culture, learning and more, there is simply none like it. Hopefully, it will be the best time of your lives! MONSU Peninsula is your student union, and we aim to provide you with services such as better facilities, advocacy and student rights, as well as events, parties and sport on campus. (Every single student enrolled at Peninsula is a member of MONSU Peninsula - absolutely free!) We want your Uni experience to be as fun, easy and as epic as possible. So whether you need support with academic troubles, or want to meet new friends at one of the legendary Super Thursday O-Week parties, we are here for you. Student council meets regularly to discuss issues that affect every Uni student, as well as to plan the great activities and events that you will see advertised around the Peninsula campus. Getting involved with MONSU Peninsula is a great way to make lasting friendships, gain extra experience that looks great on your resume, and to have a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to seeing you all around the campus during 2009. If you see one of the dedicated members of the MONSU Peninsula team around, we are always up for a chat and for meeting new people, so come and say hi! Or, if you have any ideas and suggestions, feel free to come down and see us. We are located behind the Service Desk at Building U and our doors are always open.
