Parkville Dean's welcome

Orientation is the beginning of the academic year; it gives you the chance to immerse yourself in university life while getting to know the staff and your fellow students.

At Parkville, uni life is extremely busy with lectures, tutorials, practical classes as well as a variety of social events and clubs for students to get involved in. It is a vibrant community with a range of support services and enthusiastic staff and students.

I encourage you to make the most of orientation. It is the perfect opportunity to become involved in the Parkville social environment and to make new friends and colleagues. Most importantly, it is an opportunity to learn about the services and support systems you will use throughout your time with us.
