Gippsland Student Union's President's Welcome

On behalf of the students and staff of Monash University Gippsland Student Union (MUGSU), I'd like to welcome you to Monash University Gippsland.

As students of Monash Gippsland, you are considered to be a member of MUGSU, and entitled to all the rights of membership, which means there are resources available to you which will ensure that your time at University is not only educationally stimulating, but also really good fun.

MUGSU provides you with advocacy and representation to help keep things fair for when things get tough. MUGSU is also a source of excitement and energy for the campus. We provide opportunities for people to socialize and enjoy fun-filled activities. MUGSU is run by students for students, and we really want you to get involved!

You have the opportunity to join one of our many clubs or societies which can be about anything from boxing to beer, and if you really want to, with our help, you can even start up a new one. Come to our many band nights, fancy dress parties, BBQs and sporting events, or go on one of our trips outside the campus. From the beach, to the snow, we're committed to expanding your university experience.

With your involvement and feedback MUGSU can become even better. After all, it is your student union. We are here for you, and together we can make some big changes. Nothing is too big, or too small.
