Engineering videoText versionMonash University is one of Australia's largest and most well-renowned universities, part of the prestigious Group of Eight. The Faculty of Engineering at Monash was recently ranked number one in Australia and number eighteen worldwide by The Times Higher Education supplement. Engineering at Monash is home to over 4,000 students studying internationally recognised undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Monash Engineering offers the best of both worlds. A strong, traditional faculty and a modern cutting-edge approach. Engineering is by its very nature an outward-looking profession. Our academic staff earned their qualifications at some of the top institutions across the globe. We are engaged in many international partnerships and co-operative programs with prestigious universities in China, South East Asia, Europe and America. Engineering at Monash has been a destination for international students from the very beginning. I chose Monash because of its reputation: quality research and excellent supervision. I live close to campus. Accommodation is reasonable and everything I need is right here! Monash Engineering offers the full spectrum of engineering disciplines. Engineering's teaching and research facilities are second to none. They include the biggest wind tunnel in the southern hemisphere, state of the art microscopy and microanalysis equipment, a high voltage laboratory and a vehicle test track. And Australia's National Synchrotron, the largest scientific facility in the country, is currently being built next to Monash. On average more than 90 per cent of Monash Engineering graduates find full time employment or go on to higher level study. Yeah, absolutely recommend Monash, no doubt about it. The Faculty of Engineering at Monash University ...proud to be among the world's best. |
