Costs for students

Undergraduate courses

Domestic students enrolling in an undergraduate place at Monash must apply for a Commonwealth supported place (CSP).

All international students undertaking courses off-campus must pay the international full-fee for a place in the course.

Graduate and postgraduate courses

For domestic students, most places in graduate and postgraduate coursework programs are full-fee places. Limited numbers of Commonwealth supported places are available in some courses.

Course fees

Student Services and Amentities Fee

Off-campus students must also pay a percentage of the Student Services and Amenities Fee.

General costs

Students should allow, on average, approximately $150 per unit for prescribed textbooks. Specific computer software may also be required by the course. Details will be contained within the unit material provided either before, or close to, the start of semester.
