Same-level appointment of existing staff to an education-focused academic procedure

The Recruitment Selection and Appointment Procedure – Same-level Appointment of Existing Staff to an Education-focused Academic (renamed Translation of existing staff to an education-focused academic role) has been updated to include a process for an education-focused staff member to translate back to a standard teaching and research role. Only staff who translated to an education-focused role using this procedure are eligible to request to transfer back to a standard teaching and research role. The translation must be agreed by the staff member and the dean (or equivalent), in accordance with the conditions specified in the procedure.

Streamlined Outside Study Program – Procedure

The Staff Development Procedure – Outside Study Programme (OSP) has been updated to reflect a streamlined process and application forms to be applied University-wide, the processing of leave dates directly by Payroll and that HR Business Partners will administer the process end-to-end as OSP Coordinators.

Mandatory Compliance Training

The Conduct and Compliance Procedure – Mandatory Compliance Training has been developed to outline and facilitate the requirement of all new fixed term, continuing, casual and sessional staff to complete four online compliance training modules when they commence employment with the University.
