Monash Abroad will be showcasing its range of exchange programs and overseas opportunities at next week's Exchange and Experience Exhibition.
The Expo is Monash Abroad’s largest annual event which provides students with the information they need to take part in various short-term programs, volunteer programs and internships.
International Education Coordinator for Monash Abroad, Sarah McNamara-Argles, said Monash Abroad was excited to be part of the University’s international plan by coordinating these opportunities for students.
“The Expo is part of the Australian and New Zealand mobility fair circuit, coordinated by IEAA, that invites hundreds of partner institutions from around the world to promote their programs to our globally-minded students,” Ms McNamara-Argles said.
The University will have visitors from around the globe such as the University of Navarra, Spain, the University of Exeter, UK and Monash University Sunway campus.
Joining these partner institutions will be organisations such as Oxfam Australia, AIESEC Australian Internships and Monash Undergraduate Research Projects Abroad.
“Students that attend the event will have the opportunity to speak to these organisations and many others about their programs,” Ms McNamara-Argles said.
“They will also have the opportunity to speak to Monash Abroad Coordinators and Faculty Exchange Advisors to learn about how to organise an experience abroad. Students that went on a Monash Abroad program will share their international experiences and expert advice.
“We strongly encourage staff to promote this event and other Monash Abroad opportunities to their students.”
The Exchange and Experience Expo will take place 11am-3pm, Tuesday 1 May at Monash University Campus Centre, Clayton campus.
