Inter-university fencing competition

Some of Australia's top fencers will take part in the annual inter-university fencing competition being held at Monash University, Clayton campus next week.

The five-day competition begins on Wednesday, 8 December and has attracted more than 100 athletes nationwide, including last year's champions, the University of Sydney.

The event covers all three weapons, foil, epee and saber, for males and females in individual and team events.

The competition is being hosted by the Monash University Fencing.
