Ukrainian studies centre for Monash

Monash University is marking the 21st anniversary of its relationship with the Association of Ukrainians in Victoria (AUV) via a
ceremony to announce the establishment of a centre for Ukrainian studies at Monash. The ceremony takes place tomorrow,
Friday 6 August, 6.30pm, South 1 lecture theatre and foyer, building 64, Ring Road South, Clayton campus.
The Mykola Zerov Centre for Ukrainian Studies; named in honour of noted Ukrainian poet, translator and literary critic Mykola Zerov;
is being set up within the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics with support from the AUV. The school conducts undergraduate
and graduate teaching and research in Ukrainian studies and has done so for 21 years.
