Offshore financial training - joint project

Monash University and the Victorian Government are announcing details tomorrow of a $300,000 joint project to market financial services training in the Asia Pacific region.
The Minister for Financial Services Industry and Manufacturing and Export, Mr Tim Holding, will formally announce the agreement in a ceremony at Monash University, Clayton campus.
The funding will finance a collaborative project team that will promote education programs to banks, financial institutions and agencies in China, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Monash was selected for the collaboration because of its strength in education and training for the finance industry. The project will expand on existing university projects that focus on Asian markets.
