An insight into the Federal Budget will be provided to the Peninsula business community at a Monash University breakfast seminar on Thursday 11 May.
Director of the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economics and Social Research at The University of Melbourne Professor John Freebairn, will explain how local businesses may be affected by the Federal Budget and how to take advantage of the opportunities it presents.
Professor Freebairn is an expert on taxation reform, labour markets, infrastructure pricing and investment, and micro-economic reform.
The seminar is being hosted by the Monash Business Associates -- a program that aims to expand and improve the activities that link the university with the south-eastern Melbourne business and education communities.
