Monash University and Victoria Police are co-hosting a forum next Wednesday, 19 April, to discuss the growing threat of terrorism, ways to fight it without alienating key sections of the community, current legislation and policy, police powers and human rights.
Guest speakers are from community groups, State government, Victoria Police, the Islamic Council of Victoria, and Monash University.
What: Forum:Liberty vs Security: A necessary trade off
When: Wednesday, 19 April, 10am to 4pm. Two sessions: 10am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-4pm
