Olympic gold medallist Mr Herb Elliott will present a trophy to seven champion Monash University walkers at the university's Caulfield campus, this Friday, 3 February.

The seven university staff have been declared winners of the Global Corporate Challenge virtual walk, of which Mr Elliott is patron.

Just over 10,000 walkers, in 1430 teams from Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US competed in the challenge. Between 26 May and 8 November, participants "virtually" walked from Arnhem Land to Antarctica .
