Earlier today, Wednesday 2 November, the water supply to the Gippsland Campus was interrupted. Attempts to restore supply were unsuccessful and, with no guarantee of supply for domestic water and fire services, a decision was made to close the campus.
There was no disruption to morning exams.
Water supplies to the exam rooms were restored in time for afternoon exams to proceed as scheduled.
The water supply has now been fully restored and the campus will be open to the public from tomorrow, Thursday 3 November.
Students who believe they have been disadvantaged by this incident may access the university's Special Consideration Procedures.
