South Africa graduates make history

3 December 2004

Monash's youngest campus has just produced its first graduates, with 20 students receiving their degrees at Monash South Africa on 27 November.

The group has made history as the first graduates from the Johannesburg campus, which was established in 2001.

The graduation ceremony – attended by dignitaries, Monash academics, friends and families – was the culmination of three years' work for the students, who received degrees in arts, business and commerce, business systems and computing.

Monash South Africa graduates (clockwise from top left): Mr Richard Zanner (BBusSys), Mr Douglas Minnaar (BComp), Mr Bradley Harrison (BComp), Mr Kai Grunwald (BBusSys), Ms Tracey-Leigh Wraight (BA), Ms Simanga Humphrey (BA), Ms Susan Pretto (BA), Ms Michelle Letzler (BA), and Ms Louise Emanuel (BBusCom).
