International students living or studying in Melbourne are being offered a close up look at one of Australia's top tertiary educators, Monash University.
Monash is Australia's largest international research-intensive University and offers a large and diverse range of study options and career outcomes for students.
The University has organised special events for international students already in Australia, which are being staged in Melbourne in coming months.
Wednesdays in the City are free information sessions specially designed to give prospective international students more information about Monash University.
The sessions provide an opportunity for prospective students to discover all that Monash has to offer them and to discuss their individual study pathway directly with a Monash advisor.
The benefits for students attending a session include:
- expert advice on a huge range of courses on offer at Monash,
- one on one attention from Monash staff,
- ability to lodge a study application on the spot, and
- a saving of $100 in application fees if the application is submitted at the session.
Monash University is ranked among the top fifty in the world by the Times Higher Education supplement.
The University is currently celebrating its 50th year and has campuses located across suburban Melbourne and regional Victoria as well as a strong international presence with dedicated campuses in Malaysia and South Africa, and a centre in Italy.
Almost 7000 Staff and 55,000 students come from more than 130 countries, fostering a unique learning and cultural experience and providing a global education in a world where international boundaries are no longer borders.
Wednesdays in the City sessions are held every Wednesday from May 7 to June 25 from 1-4pm at the Monash Law Chambers, 472 Bourke Street, Melbourne.
Students needing any additional information can go to the City Sessions website.
