More than 100 secondary students from around the state will converge on Monash University's Clayton campus next week to learn about the magic of science.
The three-day 'Siemens Science Experience' includes a fun and educational program of workshops, guest speakers and plenty of hands-on experiments.
As well as experimenting with giant bubbles and using chemistry to make a 'submarine' travel up and down a glass canister, the students, who are about to enter Year 10, will make hand cream and tour the CSIRO.
The annual 'experience' is also a great opportunity for students to learn more about further studies in science, technology and engineering and points the way to possible future career options.
