Monash University has been ranked highest of any Australian university in the 2007 round of the Federal Government's Learning and Teaching Performance Fund.
The University received $10.55m out of the $83m funding pool.
Funding was linked to performance indicators with Monash receiving consistently high marks across grouped faculties. Humanities, Arts and Education at Monash was given a 75 per cent overall satisfaction rating.
The performance indicators used in the Learning and Teaching Performance Fund (LTPF) are derived from the Graduate Destination Survey (GDS), the Course Experience Questionnaire (CEQ), and the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations' annual university statistics collection.
