Chief Executive Officer of Foster's Group Limited,Trevor O' Hoy, addressed the second Monash University Leadership Forum on Wednesday 6 June.

Mr O'Hoy, a distinguished alumnus of Monash University, spoke very highly of the value of his education at Monash and how much his degree has assisted him throughout his life and career. Mr O'Hoy spoke of the divergence of Foster's as a multi beverage industry, and the growth of Foster's since he commenced as the CEO in April 2004. He offered some valuable insights into the persistence and the hard work required to run a company like Foster's, the importance of effective people management, and learning to capitalise on the strengths of his leadership team.

Mr O'Hoy also highlighted the need to have the confidence in your own ability to create change and not be afraid to try new things to develop the organisation to be the best it can possibly be.

A significant feature of the Leadership Forum was the attendance of 10 students from the Ancora Imparo Student Leadership Program (featured here with Trevor O' Hoy back row, third from left), Professor Richard Larkins (back row, third from right); and Professor David Copolov (back row, extreme right).
