Feathers and fur were on show for more than 100 children at the Monash Children's Centre on Clayton campus last week when Raine, Hayne and Shine Mobile Farm brought along piglets, geese, ducks, lambs and calves.
Centre coordinator Ms Ellinor Cambell said the annual visit was both educational and fun for the children.
"Many had little or no previous contact with farm animals, and they were delighted with the cute and cuddly visitors," she said.
During the visit, the children were also taught how to churn butter and shown a number of different eggs ranging from chicken to emu eggs.
