Leg pain trial

Adults with intermittent leg pain while walking or exercising needed to participate in a clinical trial at Dandenong Hospital.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • are 40 years or older
  • have normal or well-controlled blood pressure
  • are willing to consider a change to your current medical treatment regime
  • have at least sixth-month history of stable intermittent leg pain due to peripheral artery disease
  • able to walk more than two min/15 metres but no more than 12 min on a treadmill
  • do not have Type 1 diabetes, severe cardiovascular disease, cancer, liver or kidney disease

Participants may receive study-related:

  • health review
  • study drug/supplement
  • laboratory work
  • vascular testing
