Opportunity to help the Masai in TanzaniaPublished: 4 November 2009 Testigo Africa is managing a solar powered water, grey water and permaculture project for Longido, a Masai village in Tanzania. Enduring the worst drought in history, the village has a population of 12,500 including 3000 children. We are seeking water, permaculture and environmental sustainability experts to assist in Tanzania with the technical aspects of the project, and volunteers (based anywhere) to help with grant sourcing and applications, fund raising, marketing, communications, profile raising, volunteer program and general assistance. If you can offer your time, energy or expertise, want to incorporate the project into your studies, or would like to be kept informed of the progress, please contact us. This is a great opportunity for adding a philanthropic project to CVs and life experience! Date: Monday 1 November to Monday 31 December, 2010 For further information contact: |
