Males over 49 needed for movement research

Published: 21 October 2009

We are currently seeking male volunteers over the age of 49 to take part in a study of normal walking characteristics. Our aim is to develop a database of the normal walking patterns of adults in Victoria. In collaboration with the Centre for Clinical Excellence in Gait Analysis and Gait Rehabilitation, this information will also be used to create a worldwide database of normal walking. The reason we need this information is to help us understand how disease and disability change the way people walk. Willing participants will be required to come to our lab for half an hour and walk along a specialized walkway at several different speeds.

If you are a male in this age group or know someone that is, please contact us.

Date: Monday 19 October, 2009
