Clinical Trial for Leg Pain

Adults with intermittent leg pain while walking or exercising needed to participate in a clinical trial at Dandenong Hospital.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
- Are 40 years or older
- Have normal or well-controlled blood pressure
- Are willing to consider a change to your current medical treatment regime
- Have at least sixth-month history of stable intermittent leg pain due to peripheral artery disease
- Able to walk more than two min/15 metres but no more than 12 min on a treadmill
- Do not have Type 1 diabetes, severe cardiovascular disease, cancer, liver or kidney disease
Participants may receive study-related:
- Health review
- Study drug/supplement
- Laboratory work
- Vascular testing
