Seeking adolescents for positive psychology study

Published: 21 October 2009

Positive psychology is based on the premise that teaching people skills and behaviours that enhance their well-being can improve their mental health and help prevent mental health problems.

Based on research in positive psychology, we have developed a youth focused mental health promotion workshop. Our next step is to test the effectiveness of this workshop to see if it works.

Currently, we are looking for participants (aged 14 to 17 who live in Melbourne) who may be interested in taking part in the study.
