Dr Jim Hyde "Rethinking Public Health Leadership"

The Monash University SPHC Community Voices seminar series aims to connect academic researchers and students with the views and experiences of those directly working within community health.

This exciting seminar series provides insights from some of our leading community health care policy makers and advocates, who are working at the grass roots and government levels to change the health and wellbeing of Australians.

The next seminar of the series will be presented by Dr Jim Hyde.

Dr Jim Hyde is the Director of Public Health in the Victorian Department of Human Services. In this role he is responsible for strategic and policy advice to the Victorian Government on a range of public health issues including health protection (environmental health, food safety and communicable disease prevention and control), health advancement (health promotion, primary prevention and chronic disease prevention), and health intelligence (monitoring, surveillance and evaluation).
