HeaD-ON (Headaches and Depression -- Overcome Now) is a study conducted through Monash University and Southern Health and is currently recruiting adults who suffer from headaches/migraines and depression to participate in a research treatment trial. The treatment program is an integration of the best available psychological treatment techniques for headaches and depression. If eligible, individuals will be allocated to the treatment or control condition. Treatment is cognitive behaviour therapy delivered by a clinical psychologist. Participants in the control condition will be offered treatment if study criteria are met after 12 weeks. Participants are provided with a small gratuity for undertaking the assessment interviews.
