MIMR - 2010 Student Open Day – Clayton campusPublished: 29 July 2009 Undertaking biomedical research at the Monash Institute of Medical Research is an enriching and rewarding experience. As a dedicated research institute, MIMR offers opportunities not always found in university departments. MIMR has more than 200 potential supervisors in molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, stem cells and clinical research, who are internationally renowned for their research. Students at MIMR have access to state-of-the-art technology, including embryo microinjection, gene arrays, laser-capture micro dissection, confocal microscopy, stem cell technologies and cell imaging. MIMR's Student Open Day gives students the opportunity to meet senior scientists, tour our facilities and learn about the exciting and diverse projects available for students in 2010. The 2010 student handbook, including research projects on offer, will be available on the day and online. A free shuttle bus will run from Building 64 to MIMR from 4.30 -- 5.15 pm and will return at the conclusion of Open Day. Time: 5 to 7 pm For further information contact: |
