Participants sought for Early Life Trauma ResearchPublished: 17 June 2009 The Alfred Psychiatry Research Center and the Department of Psychology, Monash University are conducting a study on the relationship between traumatic experiences in childhood and later episodes of depression. At this stage we are particularly seeking adults who have no history of depression, but who have had one or more traumatic experiences in childhood (before the age of 18 years). Participation in this research project involves completing a questionnaire on experiences of childhood trauma, some memory tests and a session of MRI scanning to measure brain volume.
