Micromon Launches High Throughput Sequencing and Genomics Service

Micromon has commenced operations using the Illumina GAII Genome Analyser platform which is capable of producing Gigabases of sequence. We are providing a comprehensive range of applications to all Monash and external researchers. These applications include Whole Genome Sequencing, Transcriptome Analysis, Small RNA Discovery and Protein-DNA Interactions.

We also offer a range of Bioinformatics analysis and support options that are provided by the Victorian Bioinformatics Consortium as a collaborative venture.

We provide a comprehensive web site for the Genome facility that features a broad range of background and user specific information.
