Making the most of Blackboard - Caulfield

Published: 10 June 2009

Most academics use Blackboard to distribute lecture notes to students. However, Blackboard can be a powerful tool that can engage and motivate our students. In this session Peter Wagstaff will share his experiences of using additional features in Blackboard, such as embedding multimedia (video and audio), to increase student interaction.

Presenter: Peter Wagstaff, Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business and Economics.

Peter teaches first-year undergraduate marketing in the Faculty of Business and Economics. In 2007 he was awarded a Federal Government Carrick Citation for "innovative use of communication technologies to effectively engage large cohorts of students and to motivate them as independent learners."
