School of Primary Health Care Seminar Series: Community Voices 2009

Published: 3 June 2009

The Monash School of Primary Care Community Voices seminar series aims to connect researchers, health professionals and the public with the views and experiences of those directly working within community health.

It provides new insights from some of our leading community health care policy makers and advocates, who are working at the grassroots and government levels to change the health and well-being of Australians.

The first seminar of the series will be presented by Dr Rick Kausman and is titled: 'If Not Dieting, Then What?'

Dr Rick Kausman is a medical doctor who is recognised as the Australian pioneer of the person-centred approach to healthy weight management.

A light lunch will be provided.

Registration is free, however numbers are limited to 100 participants.

This program has been supported with funding from the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing under the Primary Health Care Research Evaluation and Development (PHCRED) Initiative.
