Global Education Systems Day - Clayton

Want to know more about other countries' educational systems? Travel the world and learn about 14 education systems in a day. Monash Education Research Community (MERC) invites you to participate in the Global Education Systems Day.

This is a day where international research degrees students from the Monash Faculty of Education share the education systems of their home countries. The aim is to promote understanding and comparison of different educational contexts, and networking among students and staff.

There will be presentations on the distinctive characteristics of the 13 countries and International Baccalaureate. In addition, participants will have information the education structures of the 14 systems. Time will also be set aside for participants to engage in open discussions after three or four presentations.

Time: 9 am to 5 pm
Date: Monday 8 June, 2009
Venue: Room G23, Building 6 (Education Building), Clayton campus
