Global Challenges in Leadership and Health ReformPublished: 27 May 2009 Presenter: Professor Richard Southby, Executive Dean and Distinguished Professor of Global Health Emeritus, The George Washington University Medical Center, USA. Professor Southby was a Commissioner on the Australian Hospitals and Health Services Commission during the 1970's and was Director of Health Services Research and Teaching at the University of Sydney. Since 1984 he has been the Director of the Interagency Institute for Federal Health Care Executives, the major continuing education program for senior health care executives from the US Army, US Navy, US Air Force, US Public Health Service and the Department of Veterans Affairs. He is a Visiting Professor at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University, and is also the immediate Past President of the Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH).
