End of semester Mass and social event - Clayton campus

Published: 27 May 2009

Catholics on Campus -- Monash University will be holding a day for University students on Sunday 7 June. The End of Semester Mass and Social Event coincides with the arrival of the Icon of Our Seat of Wisdom (Sedes Sapientiae). The Clayton campus Religious Centre will be hosting the icon in June. The icon is from the Vatican department for chaplaincies and universities and was dedicated by Pope John-Paul II in Great Jubilee Year of 2000 to students: "…so that she may be welcomed as a teacher and a pilgrim. Mary supported the Apostles with her prayer at the dawn of the evangelisation; may she also help you."

5:10 pm - Mass celebrated by Bishop Tim Costelloe, SDB.

Free dinner to follow Mass.

All staff, students, family and friends are welcome.
