Judicial Mediation: When Judges act as Mediators for the Benefit of Citizens and Lawyers - Melbourne City Office

Presenter: Madam Justice Louise Otis Québec Court of Appeal

Justice Otis has received numerous awards for her contribution to the development of judicial mediation at the Québec Court of Appeal. She has also worked extensively internationally, developing judicial reform programs in Mali and Haiti, as an expert on dispute resolution for the United Nations, and as a public speaker and lecturer about labour law, administrative law and mediation.
