Healthy people over 50 needed for attention and concentration studyPublished: 11 March 2009 Are you, or someone you know, between the ages of 50 and 75 and interested in volunteering in a research project investigating aspects of attention and concentration? People in this age group who do not have Parkinson's Disease are sought so as to provide a comparison group in a research project investigating the effect of Parkinson's Disease and concurrent depression on these areas of cognition. Comparing the performance of groups of people with Parkinson's Disease, with or without depression, and a group of people without these conditions will provide information which may ultimately help in devising ways to better assist those with these conditions. The research session would include some verbal and computerised tasks which require you to press a button in response to symbols on a computer screen. One session of 1.5 to 2 hours would be needed, and can take place at any mutually convenient location. For further information contact: |
