Gippsland Medical School Inaugural Medical Education Symposium - Gippsland

This symposium will offer participants the opportunity to share ideas and expertise around important areas in medical education. The Symposium will focus on Community Based Education in Medicine.

Goals of Symposium

Promote opportunities for participants to share their experiences and initiatives in community based education; Explore ways of determining and evaluating the outcomes of community based medical education; and Identify opportunities for broadening the scope of community involvement in medical education.

There is no registration fee for the Symposium. Participants will be expected to fund travel and accommodation.

Time: 9 am to 5 pm
Date: Friday 20 to Saturday 21 March, 2009
Venue: Monash University Auditorium, Gippsland campus
Accommodation: Century Inn, Princes Highway, Traralgon
