Gippsland Medical School Inaugural Annual Medical Education Symposium - Gippsland

Dates: 20-21 March 2009

This symposium will offer participants the opportunity to share ideas and expertise around important areas in medical education. The symposium will focus on community-based education in medicine.

Goals of symposium:

  • Promote opportunities for participants to share their experiences and initiatives in community based education
  • Explore ways of determining and evaluating the outcomes of community based medical education
  • Identify opportunities for broadening the scope of community involvement in medical education

There is no registration fee for the symposium. Participants will be expected to fund travel and accommodation.
